Formed in 2004 and recently benefiting from a recent £5.5m investment, University of Bedfordshire, School of Media, Art & Design, Luton, is one of the foremost arts departments outside of London.
On Wednesday 19 November 2008, Portable Radio visited Luton and spoke with Joanna Callaghan, artist, organiser of Heraclitus arts projects and lecturer at the School of Media, Art and Design, John Stephens, head of the fine art course in the School of Media, Art and Design and Ben Hodson, photographer living and working locally in Luton.
